One of my favourite fashion brands of the last few years is Boden Clothing. This colourful UK brand never fails to impress with their classy, modern and timeless pieces. Whether it’s a new dress to impress the work colleagues, a fun pair of printed trousers, or a cute swimsuit – there’s something for everyone on the Boden AU site.
Being a UK brand some of you may not have shopped Boden Clothing before (or heard of Boden Clothing for that matter). Therefore I thought I’d do a quick review of shopping from Australia and what you can expect.
Sizing
Boden Clothing is true to size. UK08 is equivalent to an Australian size 08 and so on and so forth. Swim is a little on the tighter side so I tend to order a couple of options or size up in case. The user reviews are extremely helpful and I always have a quick read before I make up my mind. Shoes are another one, I usually size up by half a size because they tend to be a little on the snug side.
Shipping / returns
Shipping is free over $200 (which isn’t the best incentive to be honest). I usually order a few pieces and send back anything I don’t want – returns are the cost of local shipping in Australia and go to a local address. Their customer service team is super on it and reply quickly if you have any issues with applying discount codes etc.
Price v quality
Boden Clothing pieces are good quality and wear well time and time again. I have rarely come across an item on the site that is poor quality or isn’t up to scratch. The items always wash and iron well. With the exception of linen, I rarely buy linen pieces because I can’t stand ironing!
Boden often do site wide discount codes and prompt you to use them at the check out. They also continually add new items to the sale section on their website. I often keep my eye out for things that are reduced if they were a little too expensive at full price.
