Our Story
Roots was founded by Michael Budman and Don Green, two city kids who met at summer camp in Algonquin Park, where they first fell in love with the ideals and beauty of Canada.
Starting from a little cabin, they created Roots, inspired by the experience of travelling from their city homes into the heart of Canada’s wilderness.
Since our founding, we have united the best of cabin and city through unmistakable style, built with uncompromising comfort.

The Roots B2B Department excels in applying other organization’s branding to a wide variety of custom made Roots genuine leather goods ranging from jackets and bags to office and travel accessories.
In recent years, Roots B2B has worked with film festivals, production companies, concert promoters, and sports teams. Clients include the NHL, NHLPA, David Suzuki Foundation, the Tonight Show, Rogers, Mazda, Russell Crowe and his professional rugby team, U2, Eagles, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Universal Studios, Warner Bros., Indigo Books and Music, Audi Canada and the Wayne Gretzky Foundation, to name a few.

absolutely gorgeous & perfect. It’s good quality and fits me perfectly. I’m 5″0 tall, 100lbs and got a size small. I’m knocking off a star because i called customer service to check my order status (online tracking very vague) and the agent i spoke with was very rude, argumentative/kept talking over me. She was very unprofessional.
